So, you've found me eh?
I don’t know how the hell you got into this site, but since you are here, I’ll start bragging and flexing about myself and some of my achievements haha. (Nah dude, I’m just kidding. Let me introduce myself.)
Hi, I’m Manav. I’m passionate about tech entrepreneurship and empowering others, I wear many hats – writer, designer, mentor, and even a cyber adventurer.
In 2021 with a vision of free tech education, I launched IT Ishkool, Bangladesh’s first completely free online IT platform, you can consider this to be a vibrant Hogwarts for techies (minus the magic, sadly). Here, with amazing mentors, we equip students with the digital tools they need to thrive.
When I’m not messing with security stuff or tackling social issues through my writing, I’m at Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology (BAIUST), pursuing a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering.
But my ventures go a little beyond education. Here are some initiatives I have been working on over the years- Motion Star Lab fuels research and development, Motion Star Media dives into news production, Daily Glance delivers international news, and Updyto keeps you fed with bite-sized updates. I am currently pursuing my Bsc. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) in one of the most reputed Army administered university of Bangladesh named Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology (BAIUST).

I understand, there might be some questions lingering in your mind. Although I’m not a thought reader, I’ll still try to answer some frequent questions that I get asked by people.
Of course I do. I get bullied, people laugh at me, call me crazy, make jokes of me and all sort of stuff. I often get depressed and become sad for that. Also there are days when progress feels slow and funding tight. Sometimes I feel like maybe I should stop all these and be on my own. But then I see people’s eyes light up as they build their first project, or hear a story of how any of my initiatives helped someone fulfil their dreams. That’s the fuel that keeps me going. It’s not about me, it’s about the ripple effect of knowledge and opportunity.
To answer the question shortly, “Yes, I get discouraged, I get sad, depressed, I deal with anxiety attacks.” More often than you think. But I have to go on. For the betterment of the people. My dream is to make life easy for people. The exact people who hurt me everyday haha.
Honestly, it started with video games! Building pixelated worlds and coding imaginary adventures sparked a love for technology that wouldn’t let go. Then, I discovered the endless possibilities of coding – websites, apps, anything your mind can imagine! I figured, if I could create virtual worlds, why not help others learn the tools to build their own?
You’re right, it’s not easy! We rely on the kindness of volunteers and educators who share their knowledge for free, which is pretty awesome. We also get some help from sponsors and grants, but mostly, it’s about running things lean and resourceful. Remember, even a small spark can light a big fire!
Haha, not at all! I’m still tripping over lines of code sometimes. But I guess my strength lies in seeing the bigger picture – connecting the dots between technology and people’s dreams. And hey, if I can get stuck, there’s always an amazing team of mentors at IT Ishkool to pull me out of the weeds.
The sky’s the limit! We dream of expanding to different regions, reaching even more learners who wouldn’t otherwise have access to quality IT education. Imagine a world where everyone has the tools to turn their tech ideas into reality. That’s the future we’re building, brick by digital brick.

Daily glance started it’s journey as a part of Motion Star Media in 2023. It delves deeper into stories, providing context and analysis to keep you informed and engaged. Think of it as the behind-the-scenes peek, the extra scoop that adds flavor to your daily news intake.
Speaking of Updyto, I started it as a passion project in August 2023 which later has also been acquired by Motion Star Media. It’s like a news buffet of bite-sized snippets from around the world, delivered to your smartphone. We’re all about making information accessible and digestible, perfect for the busy bees out there.
